CBM has conducted a Level 1 Umpires Course in Fuvahmulah City.
Participants are all involved in the development of cricket on the island. Fuvahmulah City Councillor Mr Hamad Abdullah was the chief guest and presented the participants with their certificates at a closing ceremony last night.
Young players, old players, new and experienced coaches have learnt the laws of cricket and how to apply them into officiating matches throughout the country.
Course Educators Mr MV Kumar and Mr Imad Ismail have used their wealth of knowledge and experience to assist in the continued passion that the class has shown in playing, coaching and officiating cricket in the south of Maldives.
