Scorecard

CBL Sports produced a dominant all‑round display to clinch the 2025 Maldives T10 Smash title, beating Vicenza by 52 runs in the final.
Before the first ball was bowled, a minute’s silence was observed in respect of the deceased victims of the Ditwah Cyclone in Sri Lanka, and both teams agreed to donate their final‑match prize money in support of those affected by the disaster.

Sent in to bat, CBL Sports piled up a formidable 141/4 in their 10 overs, powered by blistering batting from the top order. Tharaka Ruwan set the tone with a fluent 46 off 26 balls (4 fours, 2 sixes), but it was Kaushal Rodrigo who provided the real fireworks, smashing 52 from just 21 deliveries with 5 fours and 4 sixes. Piyal Kumara Wijesingha added a rapid 23 off 9, ensuring CBL finished with a daunting total despite Vicenza picking up late wickets.
Chasing 142, Vicenza never really threatened the target and finished on 89/5. Opener W Vihanga (21 off 13) and later Gayan Priyankara (an unbeaten 32 off 17 with 4 sixes) showed some resistance, but regular wickets derailed the pursuit.
The hero with the ball was Tharaka Ruwan, capping a superb all‑round performance with figures of 4/12 in his 2 overs, ripping through the middle order and extinguishing any hopes of a chase.
With a commanding 52‑run victory, CBL Sports sealed the championship in style, built on explosive batting at the top and Tharaka Ruwan’s match‑winning all‑round show.
