Maldives Cricket will be sending a young team tempered with experience to the ACC Elite League in Singapore next month.
The team announced last Friday consists mainly of youngsters, with some seasoned campaigners, including Captain Afzal Faiz, Neesham Nasir and Abdulla Shahid. The team’s Vice Captain is Shafraz Jaleel. The team is once again coached by Brendon Kuruppu, who hopes to work his previous magic with the team once again. Veteran cricketer and former national team captain, Faruhath Jaleel will manage the team, while tend will be tended by a Sanjeewa as Physio. Madih Ismail will also work with him to keep the players in top shape for the important campaign.
