Anakee Sports Club delivered a masterclass at Ekuveni Cricket Ground to defeat BG Sports by 7 wickets and claim the 2026 Maldives T20 Championship title! 🏏✨
BG Sports were held to 82 runs (15.5 overs), with Don Kasun grafting for 26. The bowling performance of the day came from Isuru Sampath, who decimated the lineup with incredible figures of 4 wickets for just 4 runs in 2.5 overs, well-supported by Nifras Nazme’s clinical 4/10.
Anakee Sports Club wasted no time in the chase, reaching 83/3 in just 9.1 overs. Chamalka Sohan (25 off 15) and Sampath Dinesh (22* off 15) provided the fireworks, while Isuru Sampath capped off a perfect individual performance with 20 runs to guide his team home.
