2025 ACC Men’s U19 Premier Cup
The Maldives Men’s U19 Squad departed to Sri Lanka today as they begin their preperations for the Asian Cricket Council U19 Premier Cup to be held in the UAE from 19th to 29th November.
The Squad and Officials will take part in a 10 day practice camp in Sri Lanka with 3 practice matches against local opposition. Such camps are a vital tool in exposing players to natural turf wickets and standard cricket outfields as they adapt from the facilities in Maldives in readiness to play against some of Asia best U19 cricketers.

A special ceremony was held on Friday 7 November to hand over jerseys to the selected players and officials. Sri Lankan High Commissioner His Excellency M. Rizvi Hassen presented the team with their attire.
CBM President Mohamed Faisal thanked High Commissioner Rizvi for his efforts to secure the practice camps in Sri Lanka.
The Squad Officials attire was presented by Ahmed Jaleel, Customer Experience Officer, Maldives Islamic Bank – the attire partners of the Maldives national cricket teams.
The CBM President presented shirts to Captain Mabsar Abdullah Ibrahim and Vice Captain Miuvaan Shifau respectively. President Faisal spoke to the event attendees about the squad being an average age of 17 and these are the players that have participated in the #Towards2030 programme launched by the Cricket Board of Maldives.
