The Elite Development players (Link) that are undergoing intensive training in Sri Lanka got their match experience underway today in the U23 50 Over National Tournament.
Yaaseen Ahmed and Ali Shunan represented Baduraliya Cricket Club against Weera Sports Club. Weera S.C. scored 285/6 off 50 Overs with figures of 3 for 51 for Yaaseen and 1 for 45 for Shunan.
In reply, Baduraliya C.C. fell short of the target by 25 runs; Yaaseen (8*) as they reached 261 all out.
