Unusually, Ishaq Ahmed left his keeping gloves in the changing rooms today and bagged himself 3 wickets.

Mohamed Sajeer and Al Amin were the pick of the New Star batsmen scoring 36 and 33* respectively.

In reply, the CBL Captain Haziq and Ibrahim Rizan saw the total home with 43 Not Out and 24 Not Out each after an aggressive start from hard hitter no-nonsense Ali Ibrahim spanked 21 from 12 balls.

Al Amin of New Star followed his cameo with the bat by taking a brace of wickets with the ball in hand.
