The Maldives T20 Division Two competition for 2019 took place at Ekuveni Cricket Ground, Malé from Friday August 23rd to Friday August 30th.

New Star win the Championship of Division 2 Cricket Tournament 2019
FINAL MATCH
New Star beat Custom Recreation Club by 3 Runs. Umpires Aiham & Leem and Scorer Nazuwan & Raaidh. Toss New Star decided to bat.
New Star Sports Club 197 all out in 19.4 overs. Adam Zameel scoring 65 off 38 balls. Adam Nasif Umar 39 off 17 balls and Mohamed Rishwan 23 off 11 balls. Wickets for Mahmood Riyaz 3, Ahmed Ikram and Hussain Rimaz each 2 wickets.
In reply Custom Recreation Club manage to score 194 for loss of 9 wickets in 20 overs. Ruwan Tharka scoring 50 off 19 balls, Mohamed Amir 46, Mahmood Riyaz 27 runs and Hassan Haziq Rasheed 23 Runs. Ahmed Firaz and Mohamed Shiyam 2 wickets each.
Awards were distributed by EXCO Member Shamin Habeeb, National team head coach Asif Khan and Cricket Board of Maldives Vice President Madih Ismail.

New Star and Custom Recreation Club moves to finals of the Division 2 Twenty 20 Cricket Tournament 2019.
New Star win toss and elected to field. Custom Recreation Club all out 111 Runs. Top score from Hassan Haziq 28 and Mohamed Saeed 23 Runs. Shaaz Habeeb took 4 wickets for 11 runs and Najmi Jaleel taking two wickets for 15 runs.
In reply New Star scored 116 for loss of 4 wickets in 12.2 overs. Top score from Adam Zameel 40 off 19 balls, Mohamed Mafaaz 30 off 23 and Ishaq Ahmed 28 Runs. Wickets for Ahmed Munaz 2, Rimaz and Faisal Abdul Sattar each one wicket.

New Star win toss and elected to bat. New Star end of 20 overs 168 for 8 wickets, Captain Ahmed Ishaq 50 off 41 balls, retired not out. Mohamed Rishwan was given out obstructing the filed on 41 off 18 balls. 6×5 4×1. Shaz Habeeb also contributed 19 Runs. Wickets for Hussain Rimaz 2, Mohamed Saeed, Ahmed Munaz and Hassan Haziq each one wickets.
In reply Custom recreation club started positive Moosa Mijad scoring 20 off 12 balls and Ali Ibrahim Scored 42 off 31 balls. Ahusan and Haziq took CRC to close before Ahusan was out for 17 and Haziq Not out 38 off 18 balls. Umpires decided that light is not sufficient to continue. At 17.1 overs CRC were 148/7 leading by 4 runs (D/L). Ahmed Firaz took two wickets other 6 wickets were shared among Ibrahim Ali, Najmi, Zameel, Firaz and Rishwan.

New Star end of 14.3 overs 108 for 6, innings was called off by umpires. After D/L umpires gave the revised score of 114 in 15 overs.
